On view throughout the Museum are an especially varied range of objects, images, and room-sized installations, including masterworks by some of the most influential artists of the past forty years, along with an impressive number of recently acquired works by emerging artists. Open Ends includes eleven distinct exhibitions and ten large-scale works and installations that landscape examine key themes and lines of affinity that define contemporary art and artists. The exhibition opens in three stages. Architecture Hot and Cold presents a wide range of images of architecture principally drawn from the Museum’s pics collections of photographs and architectural drawings. The exhibition includes works by architects including Archigram and Rem landscape Koolhaas are shown alongside the photography of Andreas Gursky and Robert Adams, for example, as well as works in different media by artists such as Gordon Matta-Clark, Andy Warhol, and Joel Shapiro.

Who am I? I am an Estonian too, my name is Jüri Ülesoo. pics On the photo you see me with my landscape dog Josper. I''m not really the pics artist but I like art. Some years ago I made some oil paintings but not now. I''ll try to be the curator for some Estonian artists on the Internet and here you see my first step - Navitrolla''s Gallery (thanks to Lile Elam and Art on the Net). The problem is that few Estonian artists have computers, good communication connection and time to learn and use it. I want to show their works to the whole world and the Internet is the best landscape tool for it. Until the artist has his (her) own Internet connection and e:mail address I will be mediator for him. pics So, you can e:mail your opinions to me and I will give them to the artists. During the landscape "day" I work as a Marketing Manager in the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian area for Finnish concern VALMET (for Valmet pics Automation - producer of process automation systems). Currently our site is international, representing over 100 artists from around the world. We have poets, musicians, painters, sculptors, digital artists, performance artists, animators and much more. The idea of having such a site came to Lile while she was involved in an open studios event in April. She was displaying many of her new oil paintings in her studio when a friend and young entrepeneur came through and wanted to purchase an oil painting entitled "Art on the Net". They talked about how wonderful pics it would be to have art up on the Internet for landscape viewing and he offered Lile internet access for a WWW site that would help artists share their art. So like many things in the art world, the site began with a barter with Lile trading the oil painting, "Art on the Net" for an Internet pics connection for one year.
